  17. I am having a problem getting C-Kermit to interact properly on a Sun 1000
  18. with a telebit modem. C-Kermit functions properly, but after HANGUP and
  19. leaving the program, users attempting to dial into the machine will
  20. receieve a connection to the modem, but will never get the login prompt.

  22. We have isolated Kermit as the program affecting a change in the config of
  23. the modem and port. I can reset the modem/port to allow logins again by
  24. using 'tip cuab' and sending "ATL7\n", then subsequently issuing
  25. 'sacadm -x -p zsmon' as superuser. However, I would prefer to address the
  26. reason why Kermit is changing this configuration, and how, via either some
  27. commands that I am overlooking, or via a code modification, I can change
  28. this.

  30. I have searched desperately though my Using C-Kermit book by da Cruz and 
  31. Gianone-- to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions I sure would 
  32. appreciate an email, or a reply to this posting.
